Position Overview

The Marketing Manager will support our aggressive marketing growth plan across multiple lines of business. You will be responsible for executing a variety of marketing activities, from managing campaigns to coordinating events, all aimed at increasing brand visibility, driving lead generation and supporting sales efforts with collateral and nurturing campaigns. You will contribute to strategy and program development and serve as project manager across marketing programs to ensure we exceed business objectives, timelines and budget targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Help develop and prioritize detailed project plans for all marketing activities, then independently manage to the plan. Engage, influence and motivate contributors from across the organization, track progress and ensure deadlines are met with high quality work. Build strong relationships. communicate with all stakeholders and proactively identify project risks and solutions.
  • Campaign Support: Assist in the development and execution of email, social media, account-based marketing and digital marketing campaigns. Track and report on campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics and CRM platforms.
  • Content Management: Coordinate the production and distribution of marketing materials, including sales presentations, product collateral, videos, webinars, blog posts, newsletters, and promotional content. Ensure all content aligns with the brand voice and messaging.
  • Event Coordination: Support the planning and execution of webinars, trade shows, speaking engagements and other marketing events. Manage logistics, registrations, and post-event follow-up to maximize engagement.
  • CRM Maintenance: Maintain and update the customer relationship management (CRM) system with accurate data. Assist in segmenting audiences for targeted campaigns.
  • Marketing Systems Management: Help maintain marketing platforms, including email marketing tools, social media management systems, and analytics software.
  • Lead Generation: Assist in the development, implementation and analysis of lead and customer nurturing campaigns. Track leads and opportunities through the sales funnel and collaborate with the sales team to ensure proper follow-up.
  • Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the marketing team, including scheduling meetings, coordinating communications, and maintaining marketing calendars.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. Experience. 3+ years of experience in a B2B marketing role, preferably within a data, SaaS or other technology company.

  • Project management. Organize projects, manage and prioritize across multiple initiatives with multiple internal and external stakeholders; ensure timely, high-quality delivery to plan, proactively identify issues and recommend solutions.
  • Problem Solving. Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, work well in group problem-solving situations.
  • Technical marketing skills in each of the areas outlined above
  • Marketing automation. Experience with Salesforce or other CRM and marketing automation, LinkedIn and other social automation and analytic tools
  • Attention to detail. Extraordinary follow-through with high standards for quality, accuracy and timeliness.
  • Written communication, including creative, on-brand, grammatically correct copy writing and proofreading
  • Oral communication. Great listener, clear, persuasive, respond well to questions, equally effectively in 1:1 and group settings
  • Quantitative analysis. Able to understand, report, draw insights and tell stories with numbers, including marketing analytics and performance to budget
  • Teamwork. Objective and open to other’s views; give and welcome constructive feedback; contribute to building positive team spirit; support everyone’s efforts to succeed
  • Creativity, tenacity, initiative, flexibility. Sense of humor a strong plus
